Thanksgiving week in the mountains comes with its own peaceful rhythm. Our days began with coffee by the fireplace, blankets wrapped tight, and the soothing sound of the creek just outside. Most mornings, the deer greeted us with a slow walk across the yard or over the bridge, as if sharing the property with us.

We wandered the grounds, took in the late-fall colors, and enjoyed the kind of unhurried family moments that feel rare and precious. Afternoons were spent in the hot tub, listening to the creek, or cozied up on the porch with snacks and conversation.

As the sun set, the fire pit became our gathering spot - s’mores, stories, and the glow of the flames lighting up the chilled mountain air.

A Private Chef Experience in the Mountains

One highlight of the week was a private chef experience right inside the cabin.  We enjoyed a fully curated four-course meal, crafted by our personal chef, Jeff from Fine Dining Chefs.  From the moment Jeff arrived to the last bite, the experience felt intimate, elevated, and completely tailored to our preferences. 

No reservations, no rushing - just incredible food, gorgeous plating, and a night of indulgence. The dinner elevated the entire trip and made the evening feel like something out of a luxury travel magazine.  Another unforgettable mountain moment!
