One of the first things I fell in love with was the cabins. With touch-of-a-button mood lighting, a smart tablet to control everything, including the curtains, and beds that transform into loungers during the day, it feels like a boutique hotel at sea. Add in the signature hammock on your balcony (perfect for chasing sunsets) and suddenly your room becomes a destination in itself.

The Wake - Steaks and seafood in a glamorous setting. Home to a must-try clam chowder with the tableside pour-over presentation - because sometimes the smallest touches make the biggest impression. 

Extra Virgin - Their Italian restaurant serves up tableside affogato - watching your dessert crafted right in front of you is a treat in itself. One night we went for "dessert" and ended up ordering an entire 2nd dinner. Cruising calories don't count!

Every meal felt like a five-star dining experience with Instagram-worthy foodie moments and creative menus I still dream about months later.

You can splurge where you want - on spa treatments (like me) or shore excursions - but the essentials are already covered. With so many inclusions, it’s one of the few luxury brands where you feel like you’re actually getting more than you paid for. Their offers and deals often include bar tabs or onboard credits, and honestly, I’ve never paid out-of-pocket for a drink. Even if you do, the drinks are very reasonably priced - another reason the experience feels luxe yet approachable 

Virgin Voyages isn’t just about cruising the Caribbean - their European itineraries are next-level. From sun-soaked Mediterranean ports to iconic northern cities, each route combines stunning scenery, cultural immersion, and the same playful luxury that makes Virgin cruises stand out. One of the best things about cruising Europe with Virgin is that the ship becomes your perfect “touchdown” point. You unpack once, settle into your tech-savvy cabin and each day brings a new adventure. You can explore multiple coastal destinations and islands without the stress of constantly repacking or traveling between hotels. Whether it’s sipping an espresso on your private balcony overlooking the Amalfi Coast, exploring local markets in Barcelona, or chasing sunsets in the Greek Islands, Virgin makes European cruising feel effortless and indulgent. 

Oh, did I mention, it's ADULTS ONLY?! No kids on board means the atmosphere is chic, elevated, and relaxing.
